ARTIST BIO

Hi, I'm Catherine, 42 years old and a mother of two from Langwarrin, Victoria. There have been many artists in my family, everything from illustrators, to painters to sculptors. It wasn't until my mid 30s that I decided to explore art myself. I am self-taught and have experimented with various mediums over the years favouring coloured pencil work. This suited my style very well but it was oil paint that really excited me.

I am an animal lover and animals will almost always feature in my work, birds being a particular favourite of mine. I hope you enjoy viewing my artwork and maybe even decide to choose one to adorn your walls.
