ARTIST NOTES: Fado music originated in the university town of Coimbra in Portugal. The performers wrap themselves in black shawls and pour deep emotion into their music. This work derived from performers at Fado Capella in Coimbra.

ARTIST BIO

I'm a retired industrial chemist (2018), and have several interests: travel, kayaking the bay, making red wine, photography, painting, pottery, collecting aboriginal art - all good hobbies. My own art style (I like to think) is 'quirky' and as I get more proficient with digital photography I hope to push my photography in a similar direction.
