ARTIST BIO

Judy has lived on the Mornington Peninsula  for over 30 years & find plenty of artistic inspiration from the diversity of the area.  She has painted in oils, acrylics & pastel but finds the magic of watercolour the medium that suits her best.

Judy studied oils under  the late John Balmain adopting a traditional realist tonal style.

Tuition from such notable watercolourists as Greg Allen, Ross Patterson, Bob Wade, Margaret Cowling, Herman Pekal has helped give her the skills of a watercolour painter. 

Judy’s work has received numerous art prizes including an acquisitive award from the Mornington Peninsula Shire Council. 

Judy is the president of the Peninsula Studio Trail, a committee member of Oak Hill Gallery & the Mornington Peninsula Art Show, she also runs art classes & workshops at he Moorooduc Studio
