Well, it's a wrap for our 53rd show. So many happy visitors and artists through the show dates so we feel confident we are continuing our strong reputation in the general community and art community. We are always happy for constructive feedback however and have some new thoughts for the 2026 show to make it even better. Thank you to all who visited and supported our show which goes to fund important community projects for Mornington Rotary Club.
The winner of the People's Choice Award 2025 is the fabulous pastel work Floral Hare by Elena Kolotusha.
With a background in architecture, It Hao Pheh combines earthy tones with great imagination and creativity in his rendering of buildings and conversely, nature. We welcome him as one of our Guest Artists.
Pierina Sannia is one of our Guest Artists for the 2025 show. Her vivid, detailed and life-like pastel works are a joy to behold.
Over the past 52 years the Mornington Art Show has raised in excess of $1.5 million, with 65% of the funds have been spent on local Mornington area projects. In mounting a show of this size, Rotarians are supported by many other volunteers from our community.
Thank you to everyone who plays a part.
The Mornington Art Show has grown to be one of the most prestigious and largest art shows in Victoria.
Supporting a diverse range of local artists (over 300), it also attracts talent from interstate. Artisanal work is also exhibited.
Carefully curated, it has a reputation for quality exhibitions and is a much-anticipated community event. The Peninsula Community Theatre is a perfect venue for the art show with great space and light and easy access. Even in the busy January holiday time it has plenty of parking.
We are very grateful to our volunteers for their support, in so many ways.
Thank you also, to our generous sponsors. A true community effort.
Our members and volunteers will now have a well-deserved break but will then start thinking about ideas for the 2026 show, our 54th!
